Here is part 3 of my YouTube made me do it haul!
Every girl just could not have enough makeup right? Ever since I had subscribed to Youtube beauty gurus, I have been wanting a lot of beauty products from the other side of the world. Oh how I wish I live in the states, I would love to go shopping with Tati of GlamLifeGuru during Madness Monday!
Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil
Face oils are a big thing right now. Argan oil is topping the list but this underdog of the Tarte Pure Maracuja Oil intrigued me. I saw this on one of the stores that brings US beauty products here in the Philippines. This is a sample size and a good size for trying it out. I think this is a good product as my skin looks brighter on the morning after application.
Rimmel Stay Matte Foundation
Being on the same line as the great Rimmel Stay Matte powder, I thought that this product would wow me to death. Boy I was wrong! This foundation is the complete opposite of its name. It is so greasy, slides off my skin and makes my skin even oiler than it is even after 1 hour of application. This is such a disappointment on my book. The only selling point for this is the price point.
MAC Cleanse Off Oil
I got this on a travel size to try it because MissGlamorazzi kept on talking about this. I was skeptical about this because I don’t think putting more oil on my skin would not help in removing makeup. But I ate my words. This is great at removing makeup. I just have one problem with this: it stings the hell out of my eyes!
ELF Mascara and Shadow Shield
This product interests me. It is a half-moon shaped silicone connected to a stick for easier grip. I have tested this product and I like it a lot. I use this during days that I like a darker smokey eye. It keeps fallout from getting under my eyes.
Wet n Wild Lipsticks
903C Just Peachy and 968 Pinkerbell
Yes I could use a few more lipsticks. I chose these because Tati mentioned these as her favorite drugstore lipsticks. These are very nicely pigmented lipsticks which come in a very affordable price tag. Not all great lipsticks come perfect, the formulation of these lipsticks are a bit on the drier side and it does no good on the lips. You can put a balm before and after application to reduce the dryness.
Natural Fiber Blending Brushes
I have received a natural fiber blending brush from Sigma and I have liked it very much, it has served its purpose and worked great. Only problem is, I don’t have a replacement incase it got dirty. I found these at a local store and tested if they’re soft. These brushes are perfect for blending and also for cream products.
I think makeup shopping really is a therapy. What are your recent purchases? Have you every bought a product because of online influence? Do tell!
